Yellowstone...Duexieme Part!

Here are just a few more pictures of our Yellowstone Labor Day Weekend trip!

Following Old Faithful and souvenir shopping, we backtracked towards the entrance of the park and decided to stop and lunch at Geyser Basin. We hiked around and loved what we saw. There were mini geysers and crystilline pools like this one. This one was called Sapphire Pool.

Another photo op!

After the hike around the basin, we crazy folk decided to try and hike our way to Mystic Falls located a mile from our current location. The only way to hike there was a rugged dirt and rock filled trail. Well, on a whim, we decided to give a shot with two strollers. It turns out that the trail was very narrow and very steep and very rocky. Essentially, VERY unsafe. We made it about .7 mile in and decided to turn back. But, all was not lost! We saw some beautiful scenery as the picture translates above and...I found a $10 bill on the way back. We said it was God rewarding us for listening to our prompting. lol

We had dinner at the restaurant that Blake and I went to on our honeymoon! It was kinda cool to relive it with Alex! This restaurant is built over an old railroad track and they still have a preserved version of the old time train sitting there to walk through. Blake and I went through last time, but I didn't have my camera so I finally got to get pictures of it! YAY! C'etait tres magnifique!

Alex and Mommy outside the train! He was hungry and didn't want his picture taken!

We had a marvelous time and can't wait to go back!! We are thinking about renting a cabin for our anniversary near the hot springs! We'll see what life has in store!
