Well, here I am...finally catching up after a very long and very stressful move out west. We have had some highs and have had some lows since packing up the truck and taking off, but that is all part of the journey, right? Or so I have been told.
Things haven't been progressing as fast as I would have liked, but I'm getting ahead of myself...
all good stories must start at the beginning...
So we had our last few days at Disney on the first week in June. It was finally getting unbearably hot, but the day we went was overcast and windy so the heat wasn't quite so stifling. We went to all of our favorite places; Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and Downtown Disney. I will share most of the trip in pictures because its hard to talk words about something that was so fun and so sad at the same time. We have made the best memories at the Disney Parks and Resorts; I can't wait to go back and create some more. (I also can't wait to see Diagon Alley @ Universal Studios lol; cause I'm a geek!)

YO HO! A Pirates life for my boy! He wanted his last picture with the skeleton. I think it would be cool to get a picture here every time we come and see the growth over the years. |

Finally eating at the famous Earl of Sandwich. It was soooo good. I had the holiday sandwich, which is basically Thanksgiving in my mouth! |

Goofing off in the queue line. :0) |

Super fast selfie in our families' favorite ride- Spaceship Earth! |

Enjoying a Frozen treat in Magic Kingdom! |

My husband, a very sad former cast member! |
Once our Disney days were numbered and over, we focused on the move west. Everything came together quite quickly, and surprisingly event free-well, until we drove away. I won't go into all the details of the trip, cause that would take us until next Tuesday to finish reading it, but, it was quite the experience! On the first day, our gas gauge stopped working in the Uhaul and we ran out of gas outside Murfreesboro TN. We had to call roadside assistance to get a tow guy to come and put gas in the truck. We waited out the evening on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere in the middle of a thunderstorm. We didn't get to our hotel until 2 am. The next day, we were in a five car pileup in Kentucky! The Uhaul received some cosmetic damage, but our car got the worst of it! Thanks to God that the car still ran and got us to Utah, but needless to say, we have to buy a new car before we can get into an rental place now. Thankfully again, my parents have said we can stay as long as we need to which has been a blessing. We had another very late night in and prayed fervently that the next day would be event free.

Empty apartment! It looked the same as the week we moved in..we had that little stuff! |

The Uhaul all packed and ready! |

Picture of Brigham City mountains a couple day after arrival. There was too much craziness to take pictures on the road. |
Thankfully, it was! And the next for the most part. There were some tiny hiccups the last few hours before we reached the Utah border, but all in all, we got there in one piece. The biggest shakeup since getting to Utah has been the job we thought we had set up fell through, and so we have been back to the drawing board in the job department. But, Blake has been interviewing a couple times a week for various management positions with a variety of companies and we are confident that we will get a job-it will just be on God's timing.
That's the key, isn't it? Trusting that we are doing right and knowing the God will take care of us. Blake and I know that there are many ways people would've chosen to look at our situation. But we chose to see that we must be doing something right considering all the opposition Lucifer decided to throw our way. Heavenly Father will forever have our backs and we can only hope and pray that our time will be soon. SO until that time comes, we are living in my parents large family area above the garage and enjoying a much needed break from the trials and woes of life; at least the financial woes...we are just glad to be together and to be alive. We are also loving all the time spent with family and have already made some great memories here...

The bday girl. The two five! Happy 25th bday to me. I am now 1/4 into my grave.... |
 |
We did pineapple skewers on the grill, chips and dip, fruit, and cheesecake! |
 |
The primary in my parents ward had an activity where the kids got to tour the temple grounds. Alex loved it! |
We have spent mine and my siblings bdays, Fourth of July, and had some great Sunday get togethers. I have to get pictures of the Fourth off of my phone, but I do have one photo from my bday that I will share. All we can ask is that people keep us in your prayers and know that we are well and happy and just waiting for life to begin! Love you all!
