So this past weekend has been one glorious year since Blake and I were sealed for time and eternity! So first I thought I'd give a little info about our wedding and then share what we did to celebrate! Blake and I were married April 10th, 2009 in the Rexburg Idaho Temple. This was a challenge due that we were both from the Midwest, but I think that we wanted our wedding to be somewhere sentimental for us both (where we met, etc.) instead of just picking a temple out of convenience. The day was beautiful but overcast. (I wasn't worried because I had heard that the best pictures are taken when it's a little overcast. We had a glorious display of clouds as our backdrop for the photo session.) I arrived at the temple ready to be sealed! I was so excited. Blake met me there, so he was already in the waiting room. We completed the necessary paperwork and then changed. We were sealed together at 2:00pm. The ceremony was beautiful and the Spirit bore witness to me like I have never had witnessed before that I was doing the right thing. That this WAS the right man! The intense burning in my chest stayed with me...I literally was on cloud nine the rest of the day! We took pictures, went to Jamba Juice and then proceeded to the small beautiful reception that we had in Rigby. Our cake was beautiful. We ate pizza and salad. There were many beautiful toasts given by friends and family and there was tons of dancing and fun! The ambiance of the night surpassed my expectations. Gosh, I wish I could relive it! We spent our honeymoon in West Yellowstone and even though the park was closed (just our luck right?), we still managed to see some fun places and do some fun things!
So, for our anniversary this year, we decided that we would do it in two parts. First, just a little date in town. Blake tried to recreate all of the places and things that were a part of our week long whirlwind romance! We went to eat and split a footlong at Subway-our favorit

I love my husband with all my heart, mind, body, and soul. I would walk through fire for him. I cherish his spirit and I am so grateful and boggled that someone like me gets to spend eternity with someone as great as he. I am truly a lucky girl! Thanks to Heavenly Father for the amazing blessing of my husband!
