Dreaming at Disney

Ok, so I am way overdue for a posting.  Let's just say the last month has been crazy.  But I will start slow and work my way through.
In February, Alex and I flew down to Disney World to see Blake.  We had a blast; not only because it is the happiest place on Earth, but also because we were with Daddy! YAY!
We got prorated discounts at the resort hotels, on the food, and on the souvenirs.  Needless to say, we probably spent more than we should have.  But, it's Disney and we were making memories.

We stayed at the All Star Sports resort.  A great deal for the dollar.  Mickey was there to greet us!

We laughed and saw a lot of amazing things.  We went to Downtown Disney and Blake's current work location at Port Orleans Resort on the first day.  If anyone wants advice on a way to chill after a long day of travel, go to Downtown Disney.  There are a million restaurants to choose from and there are lots of shops to paruze. It was a great way to get out and see the sights without fighting the crowds.

Alex was waiting for the bus to take us to Downtown Disney!
Planet Hollywood- one of the many restaurants to choose from.
Lego - and yes, I said lego- art is very popular in Downtown Disney.  Yes, all lego!
This is the largest Disney merchandise store.  It was pretty cool to paruze this baby!

On day two (which was also Valentine's Day), we went to Epcot-which is by far my favorite park.  It has a little bit of everything.  But what I like most is the contrast.  There is future land-exploring technologies and ways of our future.

Here is the view of the giant golf ball.lol.  At least that's what it looked like to me.

Alex being a goof ball in the tunnel climb that they had in front of Mission Space.

And then there is the World Showcase-which highlights 13 countries-all set in the past.  It encompasses our heritages and our futures-and that is what I find magical!

Paris, France
Japan
Mommy and Alex with Donald Duck.
My adorable little boy!

Day Three was Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios but we didn't have as good a time there.  There was less for Alex to do and less for him to ride.  Day Four was the Magic Kingdom-which again was loads of fun but not to the same extent as Epcot.  We felt like we were cheating Disney by not loving the MK, but we cant help it lol.  I did take a few pics though.
Blake still had to work a lot, but it was totally worth it to see him!  I can't wait til we are under the same roof again!
Cinderella's Castle
Loving the rain.  It cooled everything off!
It was unfortunately too cold to go swimming.  But, never fear, we will be moving there in another month and then Alex can go swimming as often as he wants lol.  I can't wait to let the magic of this place enhance the magic that is already in our family.  I am so excited for all the possibilities that this place has to offer.
