My little boy turned 2 on the 22nd of February.
His Mimi and I put together a Thomas and friends party since trains about all Alex eats, thinks, and breathes right now. He really enjoys Thomas and friends and has several of the shows favorite engines in toy form.
I went ahead and got invitations from Walmart. I colored the inside picture to make it more colorful and bright for the children. We didn't know a ton of the people in the area, but Blake's mother referred me to a few of the ward members who had children Alex's age. All in all, we invited three families-all with two kids a piece.
They all had a blast. It was a gorgeous day and we all played in the backyard. The kids played ball and I really think that Alex loved having playmates. Overall the party was a total success.
Thank you, Alex, for being the wonderful little boy that you are. You have blessed your mom's and dad's lives in more ways then you will ever know. You have such a love for life and a love you those around you. You experience emotions in ways that I don't understand, but I know that you will be blessed incredibly by that gift. You may seem rambunctious, but you are just vivacious and lively. You are a great soul. You are bright and smart and have a great aptitude to learn. I want you to know that Daddy and I love you very much and see so much for you future. We look forward to the years ahead that we have to learn from you and for you to bless this family.
