Christmas Parties and Santa Claus

 Blake worked a lot during the Christmas season, but I had the opportunity to attend our ward Christmas party with Alex. It was an ugly Christmas sweater party, and by golly, we had a few creative and ugly sweaters that came.  Alex and I didn't have anything really, but he did don his best sweater and was so excited.  

I do have to take a sec to give a shout out to our ward here in Florida.  The Lake Reams Ward is an amazing group of people.  They come from all walks of life and from every corner of the US and a few from other parts of the world, but we all mesh so closely and everyone feels welcome.  I felt welcome from my first day.  There are also a lot of young couples here so its easier to get along with the people because we have a lot of situational commonalities.  A good portion also work for Disney, and that helps the common ground too.

Nummy Nummy Food.  He just chowed down, which was surprising because eating is a strong point for Alex. 

Later in the month, I went with Sasha to Epcot and took photos with the Santa Claus over in World Showcase.  This was a perfect outing!  Not only were all the lights and ambiance perfect for bringing Christmas spirit, it was also in the 30's that night (which is unheard of) and so we got to wear our winter gear.  That helped me feel more like Christmas.  I absolutely love the wintertime.

We had a perfect warmup to the holiday season.

Now Santa can come to town, Frosty can run through the street, and chestnuts can roast by the fire.  Christmas, we are ready!  Christmas, here we come!
