Fall Registration

So it's official! Blake is officially registered for his last semester. He will graduate in December. It's so close and yet so far away, but what am I kidding myself, we will be there before I know it.
I also found out that I have to do an internship, which sucks because that is just going to take away more time from Alex, but the Sociology department won't let me take Thesis class at the same time as Analysis class.
This is just totally plain stupid, but it is what it is and I have to deal with it.
So, job for the fall...FIND A MOM-Friendly Internship. Joy! *rolls eyes*

Cant wait til this is Blake!

We have a lot of decisions to make in the next few months about future plans and school options, but I think for the time being-we are going to concentrate on finishing our undergrad degrees and getting a stable job. Blake is certifying as an EMT-Basic in the fall and so we hope he can a starting position in the medical career. After, I graduate, we think that we will start filling out Med-school applications in preparation for him to matriculate to a school by the fall of 2013. I think this is fairly smart because he is fairly burned out and a year off will give him to time to collect thoughts and regenerate. Plus, because he is taking a 21 credit semester this fall, he is not going to have any time to submit applications-at least not accurately and correctly. And I think that he might look into taking further chemistry pre-requisites at a local community college in order to fulfill what he is missing.

EMT versus MED-STUDENT

I wanted him to do this plan so that he would have time to determine if the EMT field was for him or whether he would still want to attend 7 years of grad school. I hope he does both, because I really want him to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor-but I am also ready to be done with the student portion of our lives lol.
We will go and do what the Lord wants though, and that is the most important. :0)
