FDREL 324 Week 4

So for this week, I reviewed over section 25 in the Doctrine and Covenants. In this section, God is admonishing Emma Smith about how she should act. He tells her that she is an elect lady and that she has many blessing coming her way if she but stands by her husband and remains faithful to the work. In this assignment, I was prompted to examine the qualities of an 'elect lady' and then figure out how I could apply them to my life. I constructed a PowerPoint slide to demonstrate the principles.

I would like to bear my testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. I know that if women everywhere strive to live up to the attributes listed in the above PowerPoint, that God will bless them immensely with eternal blessings. They will receive glory on high and will glorified as queens in heaven. I know that this Church is true. I am grateful for my husband and my son and all the joy that they bring into my life. I say this in Jesus' name, Amen.
