A Few Mommy/Son Date Days

I have really been trying to encourage cutting out less TV and more outside time-especially right now when the weather has been so nice.  In only a few more weeks, the rainy season will be upon us and spending time outside will be much harder to do without becoming completely drenched to the skin.  So, I have been trying to have Mom/Son daydates a couple times a month.  I get out, Alex spends so quality time with me, and we are beginning to create a tradition that is just so much fun.  I want our relationship to be important and something that won't fade away as he gets older; what a better way to visit and have fun than together, right?
So, here are some photos from the last few 'dates'.  I am getting ready to take him on another soon.  The first one took place at the Magic Kingdom over President's Day weekend.  And the other was at the end of March for the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot.

Gorgeous Morning at the Magical Kingdom

A very nice lady on the monorail offered him a lolipop.  He is really enjoying it.

Passin the time waiting for the castle show!

In line for the Stitch Ride over in Tomorrowland.

Waiting for Daddy to get off work at Epcot.  Eating some famous Disney Mac and Cheese.  How he got it on his eyebrow is beyond me??? lol

Spent the next weekend making a sock puppet friend.

Silly Sarah relaxing.  Blues Clues was probably on and I was bored lol

These are from the Flower and Garden Festival at the end of March.  Lion King Scene...

Periwinkle, Tinkerbell's sister from Disney's Secret of the Wings

TInkerbell and her little fairy house.  It's so little.

His 'cheeses' have gotten really cheesy lately.  It's increasingly harder to get a good smile. But he's adorable just the same.

Daddy tagged along for part of the trip.  We are scared of the tornado about to strike our balloon basket.  From Disney's Oz: The Great and Powerful

Yellow Brick Road Playarea

He loves the croc from Peter Pan.  He was so excited to see it.

The dreaded Captain Hook.

Aroura and her Prince

Cinderella and her Charming

Viva La France, ne c'est pas?

And my favorite story of all time, Belle and her Beast.  I think little 'Alice' in this picture is so cute!
Just another fun few days.  Fun is something that we never lack here is Florida.  Maybe its because there is just so much here to do; maybe its because we are loving being a family; maybe its the love we have for each other--whatever it is, I hope it never stops because it has been such a happy time.  Love you all-til next time!
