Some Big News

So they rest of the year has been crazier than I would have anticipated hence the amount of time between blog posts.  And unlike all my lovelies on here who have beautiful new babies and birth stories to share, a lot of what goes on is the same old stuff and I sometimes forget how beautiful and lovely those moments can be.  we have also been extremely busy with two birthday parties, three family visits, lots of work stress, and a ward split!  Feels like my life has been the Twelve Days of Christmas all over again.  But, I am blogging today because I do have some exciting news to share (and no, I am not having baby #2)!  

Farewell to beautiful Disney World and all of its magic!

We are moving!

Yes, we are moving back to our western roots and headed back to our beloved mountain state of Utah.  This has been a long time coming and although I do not wish to share the crazy wild details that fueled this decision, I do wish to say that God has opened a very large window and intends on blessing us for taking this leap of faith.  It has been difficult coming to this decision, mainly because we have just begun loving our Florida life and our Florida family here at Lake Reams.  We also will miss all of the Disney filled memories that came at so little expense to us.  We will miss the palms, the fiery night sky before dark, the cool sea breezes after a hot day, and the calm serenity found at the oceans edge.  But we know that this is what God intends us to do and we are extremely excited for the adventure that He has planned for us.   

Blake has been given some opportunities out in the mountains of Utah and they are some exciting prospects.  Great jobs, great pay, great benefits, and plenty of time still to spend with family.  He is also thinking of going back to grad school once we get set up since there are lots of schools around to choose from.  My parents have graciously offered to take us in til we get set up in a place of our own,  so it will be like a summer vacation I suppose since the last time I saw them was this time last year. And I have found a lot of beautiful properties that show potential as soon as we start this new job, so hopefully we will have our own place really soon.

This has been a long time coming and God has been preparing us to make this move back for awhile.  Our hearts struggled with the prospect at first, not understanding God's timing on things.  But, we can see now that His hand is 100% behind this, that this is the right thing, and we are SO excited for that.

 So, as for now, lots of packing and prepping.  We are doing our last Disney trip next week and I will be sure to document every last bit of fun.  We load the Uhaul truck on the 7th and will be leaving the Sunshine State on the 9th.  Pray that all goes well; that we will close up all of our ties here smoothly.  Pray for our safety on the trip.  And pray that we will be shown exactly what to do when we get there!  We love you all; especially if you belong to our Florida family and we will miss you...  

But the wonderful thing about Disney is that it will always give us a reason to visit.
