What a fun Christmas themed weekend!

So this week has been crazy stressful, and I was looking forward to spending a fun weekend with mon amor! And it was great! We didn't get to do all that we wanted to, like going to Yule Ball or the ward X-mas party because of work schedule conflicts, but it was super fun just the same. I made a nice dinner, if I say so myself, of pork sorloins, and veggies last night and surprised Blake when he got home from an extra long shift. Then we went out and it felt like old times back when we were dating, just laughing and living like crazy and having a blast. We went and got a box of Christmas cakes and then watched Holiday in Handcuffs. We also tried to rent a Redbox movie, but that obviously wasn't meant to be because I consistently continued to forget things-important things...like the debit card and the free promo code lol...oh well, wasn't meant to happen. Then, this morning, my honey made me a nice warm breakfast (I get super tired of cornflakes every morning lol) and then we got ready and went to the mall in Idaho Falls for the afternoon. We finished some much needed Christmas shopping and then headed back. It was so great to go the mall all decked out for the holidays and be so happy...I love having this Christmas with just Blake and I! TO top off everything, he and I stayed up til all hours wrapping gifts and eating cookies while listening to the Christmas station. Then we cuddled near the tree and almost fell asleep there (well, until Alex made it clear that that was a very uncomfortable position for mommy to be in, lol!) LIFE IS BLISS!
